We believe that this is a very important time in your children’s lives as some of their first impressions of God and the church begin to form. We strive to create a loving, positive and secure environment where little ones can come to learn about who God is and His love for them. Eastside has a wonderful staff, committed to Christ and committed to sharing Him with your children. This information has been prepared to acquaint you with our nursery guidelines. Your willing cooperation is essential in our efforts to provide meaningful, quality care for your children.

Wednesday PM - the 4 yr olds through 1st grade are in Pee Wee Patch.
Nursery check-in & check out:
Parents are asked to sign in, give workers any special instructions, and provide your cell phone number in case workers need to contact you. Please place your cell phone on vibrate so your call will not be a distraction during the service. Children are expected to wear socks or socks & shoes during their time in the nursery.
Children will only be released to parents:
You will be asked to sign your child out at the end of the service. Please pick your child up promptly (within 5 min of the service ending). For the children’s safety please remain outside the check out counter when picking up your children. Sign out your child and the workers will gather your child’s belongings for you.
What to bring:
Pacifier, bottles, at least 2 diapers, and change of clothes. Please label everything your child brings to the nursery. Diaper bag ID tags are provided.
What not to bring:
Extra food, gum, candy or toys from home. Nursery workers will not be able to feed meals or give prescribed or over-the-counter medicines. Animal crackers and water are provided with parent permission only.
This room is available for our nursing mothers. It is located adjacent our nursery and offers sufficient privacy.
Restroom & Diaper changing:
Parents take children who are toilet training to the restroom prior to entering the nursery. Our nursery restroom will be used only for the children in the nursery and toddler room and monitored by the nursery staff. The nursery diapering room will be monitored by the staff as well to cut down on the traffic in and out of the room and for the security of our nursery children.
All of our nursery staff are screened and have been approved to work with children. If you are a church member that has interest in working in the ministry, please be aware that a few necessary forms must be completed. You can obtain these forms from the church office.
